Summary

NL Tax Guide is a free, ad-supported informational site. We do not require accounts. Calculator inputs run entirely in your browser and are never sent to our servers.

What we collect

Aggregate analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count pageviews, referrers, and rough geography. It is cookieless and does not identify individuals.

Advertising. If you accept the cookie consent banner, Google AdSense places cookies on your browser to show ads. These cookies may include a unique identifier and behavioural targeting data, governed by Google's privacy policy. If you reject consent, AdSense is not loaded and no advertising cookies are set.

Calculator inputs. Numbers you type into our calculators stay in your browser. They never leave your device. If you copy a calculator URL with parameters in the query string, those parameters are visible in the URL but not stored by us.

What we do not collect

• We do not require accounts or store user records.
• We do not use email tracking pixels.
• We do not sell or share your data with brokers.

Third parties

• Cloudflare hosts the site and provides Web Analytics. Cloudflare may process IP addresses transiently to serve content and protect against abuse.
• Google AdSense serves the ads and personalises them based on your browsing, but only if you have accepted the cookie consent banner.
• Unsplash hosts the photos used on the site. Loading them sends your IP to Unsplash; this is unavoidable for any externally hosted image.

Your rights under GDPR

You can withdraw your AdSense consent at any time by clearing your browser's site data for nltaxguide.com, which resets the consent banner. Because we do not store any personal data on our side, there is no account to delete. For requests about data held by Google, contact Google directly.
